was founded in 2006 by the Swedish illustrator Cassandra Rhodin. Inspired by her great grandfather – the legendary circus king Brazil Jack – she has created a new take on children's wear, expressing their own creativity and humour. It is never too early to start a good habit, which is why we have produced mini Kånken. It is a smaller variety that fits children as well as adults who want a very small backpack. For school, day trips or biking to work. Durable and lightweight Vinylon F. Large main compartment with large opening makes it easy to put in/take out items.
Two side pockets and a zippered pocket in the front. Handles at the top and narrow, supple shoulder straps. Seat cover in the pocket at the back. Logo doubles as reflector.

BRIO
Once upon a time
...there was a boy called Ivar Bengtsson. He was born in 1860 and lived with his family
in Picketorp, in the south of Sweden. His father died when Ivar was just 10 years old and Ivar's mother, a beautiful woman, soon remarried. Ivar's stepfather wanted Ivar to help support the family at an early age, and Ivar started to work as a farm-wagon operator.
It was hard work and Ivar dreamt of becoming a carpenter. He gave almost all his wages to his family, but he kept a little by and saved up so that one day he could turn his
dream into reality. He started making wooden baskets and sold them in the area around
Osby where he lived. The company grew and grew and they expanded their product range to include toys. Now, al these years later, Brio Toys are known and loved all over the world by young and old for their authenticity and quality. We have a small selection for the youngest in the shop, to enjoy playing with when they visit, and for the parents to buy for them when parting from the toys in the shop becomes a drama....
